Tenvora - Tennis Brand Identity Design
Tennis gear is already covered in marks, so a new symbol has to read at a glance on small, curved and textured surfaces. The design exploration was to shape a monogram that suggests speed and the arc of a shot while staying simple enough to print on felt, stitch into terry cloth, sit on the end cap of a grip and be painted onto grass. The color system also had to feel at home on court without the mark disappearing into the green of the playing surface.
1. Create a T monogram whose curved stroke suggests the path of a ball.
2. Keep the mark clear on felt, terry cloth, canvas, plastic and grass.
3. Build a green and white palette that sits naturally on court surfaces.
4. Pair the monogram with a slanted wordmark that shares its forward motion.
5. Show the identity on equipment, apparel, packaging, signage and print.
Tenvora is built around a single monogram that stays the same on every surface, so the brand is recognized by its shape before its name.
The monogram
The mark is a T split into two slanted blocks, a wide top bar and an angled stem, with a thin curved swoosh cutting between them. The swoosh reads as the arc of a ball in flight. Rounded outer corners and sharp inner cuts keep the shape crisp at small sizes. The logo is shown on a construction grid with guide lines and diagonals, where the bar and the stem line up with the grid bands.
The wordmark and type
TENVORA is set in uppercase in a slanted, squared technical sans. Its forward lean matches the angle of the monogram, so the symbol and the name read as one unit when stacked.
Color
The palette runs on a bright court green, a deep forest green and white, with tennis ball lime as an accent in print. The mark flips between white on green, green on white and deep green on lime depending on the surface.
Applications
The monogram appears on a ball, a grip end cap, a sock and shoe, a wristband, a ball tube sleeve, a flag, a canvas chair back, a grass court and player apparel. Each is shot in bright daylight on real court textures with close crops and soft background blur.
