Name

Avio - luxury car rental service in Portugal

Project Overview

Avio rents named luxury cars in Portugal and delivers them to the guest’s hotel, villa, or airport terminal, and its website is built to move a visitor from a destination to a reservation. The homepage opens on a full-bleed forest photograph with the headline Drive Portugal Your Way, a Featured this week card for the Mercedes-Benz S 580 at EUR 620 a day, and a booking bar with Self-drive and With chauffeur tabs. Below it the page runs an Our story block, a six-car collection grid, four service rows under Everything a good host would arrange, a three-step process, a dark Collected at nine, on the coast by ten feature, a regional delivery section for Cascais, Porto and the Douro, and the Algarve, an FAQ, a dark reservation form, and a footer. itcroc designed the hero and booking bar, the collection cards, and the threestep sequence that carry a visitor from search to keys in hand.

The Challenge

A rental brand at this level sells trust and convenience before it sells cars, and a homepage that opens on a price table would hide the one thing that separates Avio from a counter at the airport: the car arrives where the guest is staying. The visitor is usually a traveler planning ahead, unsure about deposits, insurance, mileage, and what happens if a flight is late. The page needs one search action near the top, a collection that can be compared at a glance, and enough process and policy detail to make a reservation feel safe

Project Goals

  • Seat the booking bar directly beneath the hero as a Self-drive and With chauffeur tab pair over four fields, Pick-up location, Pick-up date, Return date, and Car type, since search is the page’s primary action and belongs where the hero ends
  • Give every collection card the same anatomy, a name, a class and make line, three spec chips, and a price per day, so six cars from EUR 620 to EUR 1,150 can be compared without opening a page.
  • Show delivery as three numbered steps, each stamped with a time, About two minutes, Within the hour, and At the hour you choose, since a promise of arrival is only believable when it is scheduled.
  • Organize the regional section by where the guest is staying, Cascais and the coast, Porto and the Douro, and The Algarve, each with a drive distance, since a visitor decides by place before deciding by car.
  • Use one brand name and one image register: the logo reads Avio while the story and concierge copy read eRent, and the Our story photograph shows a used-car lot with SALE bunting, both of which contradict a named luxury delivery service.

The Solution

A booking bar that completes the hero
The hero photograph, a classic car on a forest road in low sun, carries the headline at the left and a Featured this week card at the right, with its own Reserve button, a 01 of 06 counter, and arrow controls. The booking bar overlaps the hero’s lower edge and sits on white, so the search form reads as the page’s first working surface instead of an afterthought below a banner.

One card anatomy for six cars
Bentley Continental GT, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Range Rover Autobiography, Mercedes-Benz S 580, Mercedes-AMG G 63, and Porsche Taycan 4S each sit on a white card over a grey ground with the car cut out at the top and the same stack below, name, class and year, three chips such as 650 hp, Automatic, 4 seats, and a price per day. Electric and hybrid cars swap the horsepower chip for Electric with a 560 km range or Hybrid, so the grid scans as one system.

Delivery shown as a timeline, not a promise
Choose the car, Confirm your concierge, and Meet your car run as three cards that grow darker toward arrival. Each card holds a small live-looking element, filter chips and a dates field, an Incoming call row with a Deposit held line released on return, and a progress bar reading Garage 08:20, On the road, Keys in hand, so the page demonstrates the service instead of describing it.

A display serif over a neutral grotesque
Headlines such as A private garage, not a front desk and Wherever you are staying in Portugal run in a light highcontrast display serif consistent with Instrument Serif, set in capitals in the hero, over a neo-grotesque sans consistent with Inter for chips and form fields. The palette stays off-white near #F3F2F0 and near-black near #111010 with white
cards, so the amber of the forest photograph and the car paint are the only saturated color on the page.
