Cruxtrix, crypto portfolio and wallet app
A portfolio app’s entire value is trustworthy numbers, and the supplied screens have real
inconsistencies in exactly that. The dashboard prices Bitcoin at 67,450 dollars, but the Bitcoin
detail screen’s own header shows a balance of 2,474 dollars and a Current Price of 2.0454
dollars, a figure that has never applied to Bitcoin, alongside a Market Cap of 44 billion dollars,
far below Bitcoin’s real scale. The detail screen also labels the asset BTN instead of BTC. A user
acting on any of these figures could make a real financial mistake. The design also had to carry a distinctly soft, non-corporate visual identity, a pink gradient rather than the usual finance-app blue, while still feeling precise enough to hold real money decisions.
• Fix the ticker label on the asset detail screen, which reads BTN instead of BTC, since a wrong
ticker on a financial instrument is not a cosmetic error.
• Reconcile the Bitcoin price shown on the dashboard with the Current Price and Market Cap
shown on the detail screen, since none of these figures are consistent with each other or
with real Bitcoin data.
• Rename 24h Charge to 24h Change, since charge and change mean different things in a
financial context and the wrong word creates real ambiguity about what the number
represents.
• Fix the Montly Progress heading to read Monthly.
• Keep the soft pink visual identity as a deliberate differentiator from typical blue-toned
finance apps, once the underlying data is corrected, since the tone itself is not the problem.
One balance, traceable across every screen
Available Balance on the dashboard and the per-asset balance on the detail screen are meant to reconcile against the same portfolio total, so a user moving from overview to a specific asset never has to wonder which number is current.
Allocation shown as both a chart and a number
The 58, 22, and 20 percent Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana split appears as a donut chart and as labeled percentages reaching a stated 100 percent total, so the allocation is checkable at a glance rather than something the user has to add up themselves.
A calm, pink identity instead of the usual finance blue
A soft gradient, rounded cards, and a single pink accent replace the sharp blues and greens
typical of crypto apps, giving Cruxtrix a calmer, more approachable register without losing the precision a financial product needs once its data is correct.
Buy and Sell as the clear close of the detail screen
Sell and Buy sit as the final action on the asset detail screen, directly below Performance
Metrics, so a user who has reviewed an asset’s real numbers has one obvious next step.
