Solace, independent watch brand
A watch priced above ten thousand dollars is normally sold on inherited prestige, and Solace
explicitly refuses that story. Without a founding date or a house name to lean on, the site has to
make craft the entire argument: hand-polished bevels, an open movement back, sapphire
crystal, and a founder willing to put her name on the work. It also has to hold three references
at three different price points without the page reading as a catalogue, and move a cautious
buyer toward a private viewing rather than asking for a five-figure purchase on the strength of
product photography alone.
• Replace inherited-history claims with checkable craft detail, hand-polished bevels, dial
finish, hand-shaping, stated in the same breath as the price.
• Open the movement to the camera instead of hiding a stock caliber behind steel, since that
is the brand’s stated point of difference.
• Present the three references with distinct materials and prices side by side, so a buyer can
compare without hunting between pages.
• Give every technical claim a matching number, case diameter, power reserve, frequency,
water resistance, instead of a vague quality promise.
• Offer a private viewing as the primary action, since a piece at this price is not bought from a
single product photo.
Craft stated as process, not adjective
Each finishing step, hand-polished bevels, a sunburst dial, hour-blued hands, gets its own short
paragraph naming the actual technique, so the quality claim is something a buyer can verify
rather than take on faith.
The movement, shown instead of hidden
An open-back photograph of the caliber sits under the line the part you never see, paired with
spec numbers for power reserve, frequency, and escapement, turning the usual sealed caseback into the site’s strongest trust signal.
Three references, one comparison
The Solace 01, Nocturne, and Meridian sit in one row with material, complication, and price
stated in the same format for each, so a buyer compares specifics instead of guessing which one is the nice one.
A viewing instead of a checkout button
The primary close is Reserve a viewing, not Buy now, matching the actual way a five-figure
watch gets sold, in person or on a call with the person who made it.
